The FDM 360mc was designed for users with demanding applications that require the same accuracy, repeatability and material specifications of more expensive FDM systems, but don’t need as much throughput. Developed from the high-end mc (manufacturing center) system line, performance improvements are a result of enhancements in the manufacturing process & various electromechanical components. Most notable are the XY gantry and head flow control parameters. The XY gantry has improved straightness & stiffness resulting in more accurate head positional accuracy. The head flow control parameters have been optimized for denser part fills resulting in increased mechanical part strength.

Software:
FDM 360mc uses two key software tools called Insight™ and FDM Control Center.™ Insight software imports STL files, automatically slices and generates necessary support structures and material extrusion paths. Insight provides greater flexibility by allowing manual manipulation of model and support structures and tool paths to optimize the part for aesthetics and part strength.

FDM Control Center™ enhances the user interface with Status, Pack and Administration functions. Users can create jobs, monitor status, assemble files, and adjust part nesting using the part footprint (not just the bounding box). Users can also view multiple FDM machine queues in a single window.
